Beautycounter Favorites

For someone who used to call make up wipes a skin routine, I’ve come a long way in my beauty journey, but what I’m most excited about is how I’m able to combine my interest in beauty with something I truly believe in, living a cleaner, safer and healthier life. Beautycounter happens to tick all the boxes for me, and I’m excited you’re interested as well. Below are some of my favorite products from their line up that will make you look and feel good (plus you’re supporting their research and advocacy efforts by supporting their growth).

SKINCARE

Cleansing Balm

I love the way my skin feels after I use this. It melts off my makeup and cleans my skin at the end of my day, and honestly my skin feels SO good afterwards. It can also work double duty as an overnight hydration mask, so yes, add to cart now.

Resurfacing Peel

You can use this product 3-4 times a week to break down the dull surface skin cells and improve fine lines, dark spots, pores. I felt the difference after just 3 uses and am SO excited to have this in my routine.

Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion

One of the most important and impactful ways of taking care of your skin is to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. This moisturizer does just that and there’s a reason its a bestseller.

Rejuvenating Eye Cream

Did you know that an eye cream is an essential part of any skincare routine?! Honestly I didn’t really understand eye creams until I read more about them and now I’m totally on board. Eye creams are anti-aging and can brighten the eye area and reduce puffiness – mama needy.

Countermatch Recovery Sleeping Cream

My favorite time to take care of my skin is at night. While I’m sleeping. Seriously, overnight masks/creams are my jam bc it fits into my lazy girl skin routine so well and is a great span to allow a product to work to hydrate and renew skin.

Sunscreen

The days of it being cool to not wear sunscreen are WAY over (why was that even a thing?!). Daily sunscreen use is a HUGE part of taking care of your skin and fighting uneven skin-tone, aging and dryness. Most sunscreens are full of harsh chemicals and think about it – its SOAKING into your skin. This sunscreen not only works, it’s safe for you and your family. I put this travel one in my diaper bag for on the go and love this stick for face and getting sunscreen on the little babe.

Balancing Facial Oil

While I don’t use an oil everyday, I love having it in my arsenal to change up my nighttime routine (my skin always feels SO good in the morning) or as a hydrating element in the morning on a day when I need it.

Make Up Remover Wipes

Essential for my lazy girl routine on days when it’s really all I can do.

Best of Beauty Counter Limited Edition Set

This set is a GREAT price and a smart way to dip your toe into trying a few of the best items Beautycounter has to take care of your skin. Also great if your newer to skin care and trying to understand what you like.

MAKEUP

Sheer Lipstick

If your a low maintenance gal who likes a little color and your lips feeling fine, swap out your chapstick for this GREAT everyday lip sheer. I want every color but Twig is an especially great place to start.

Highlighter

I thought highlighter was for like girls who REALLY know how to do their makeup and the Kardashians, but it turns out it’s not – I deserve to look like a glowing goddess too. This highlighter adds just enough shimmer and goes on so easy, it may just be an everyday item for me now (well on days I actually leave the house and put on makeup).

Bronzer

Gawd bless this bronzer. Mama is pale, but this bronzer makes me less pale and gives a great natural looking color to my very needy skin. I had a bad experience with a certain shiny orange bronzer years ago that made me a little timid to jump back in but MAN I’m I glad I did. It not only gives me some much needed color but I can also use it to contour my face a little, so DOUBLE DUTY.

Blush

I’m really impressed with the pigment in this blush, a little goes a long way and gives my skin a little life it needs.

Foundation

Full disclosure – I didn’t LOVE this foundation at first. I had been using IT cc cream for years and if you know how the coverage is on that one, it’s hard to beat. But after some use and figuring out how to apply is best, I’ve changed my mind and love it as an everyday application. Plus, my child eats my face all day long, and the thought of using something NOT clean as the base of my makeup that soaks in to my skin, that my child will be exposed to is something I just couldn’t do. My tip for best use – apply with a good foundation brush after moisturizer and if you’re looking for a fuller coverage use it more generously (honestly it’s kinda nice that you can go lighter or more coverage depending on your day).

Flawless in Five Kit

Another GREAT value item if you’re looking to replace a chunk of your line up with cleaner items, you can basically do your full look with this set full of the bests.

BABY/KIDS

Baby Gentle All Over Wash

There’s nothing better than piece of mind using clean products for your baby.

Soothing Oil

I love using lotions or oils as part of bath/bedtime routine to give baby’s skin extra love. Mama’s also use this oil for their own dry skin – BONUS.

Diaper Rash Cream

Necessary. End of story.

Kids Bath Collection

The full set that includes wash, shampoo and conditioner – all safe for your little tribe.

Baby Bundle

A great gift for a mama to be.
